True Rights International Foundation (TRIF) is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) headquartered at OU Colony, Shaikpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. TRIF is dedicated to advancing human rights, integrity in governance, dignity for every individual, and equality across societies.
TRIF operates as a non-profit, non-partisan civic organization. All donations received by TRIF are used exclusively for its stated charitable, humanitarian, and social welfare objectives as defined in its governing charter.
TRIF is not affiliated with any political party, religious organization, or commercial entity. Our activities are guided solely by the principles of Rights, Integrity, Dignity, and Equality (TRIDE).

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the TRIF website (truerights.org) or any associated services, you confirm that:

Membership Terms
TRIF membership is open to individuals who support the organization's mission and values. By registering as a TRIF member, you agree to the following:

- Membership is open to individuals aged 18 years and above.
- Members must provide accurate and verifiable identity information at registration.
- Each individual is permitted only one membership account. Duplicate accounts are strictly prohibited.
3.2 Member Obligations
- Uphold TRIF's ethical code of conduct at all times.
- Respect the dignity, rights, and equality of all individuals.
- Not use TRIF's platform for personal commercial gain, political activity, or discriminatory purposes.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.3 Termination of Membership
TRIF reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership without prior notice in cases of:
- Violation of these Terms & Conditions or TRIF's ethical code.
- Providing false or misleading information during registration.
- Creating duplicate or fraudulent accounts.
- Engaging in conduct harmful to TRIF's reputation or its members.

Donations & Payments
4.1 Voluntary Donations
All donations made to TRIF are entirely voluntary. No individual is obligated to donate to avail of TRIF's services or membership benefits (unless specific programs require a nominal fee as stated clearly at the point of registration).
4.2 Use of Donations
Donations received are used exclusively for TRIF's charitable and social welfare activities, including but not limited to:
- Food security and hunger relief programs
- Shelter support and housing initiatives
- Educational support and skill development
- Healthcare access and public health programs
- Human rights advocacy and legal support
- Community development and leadership programs
- Operational costs essential for program delivery
4.3 Tax Benefits
Donations to TRIF may be eligible for tax exemption under applicable Indian laws. TRIF will issue donation receipts upon request. It is the donor's responsibility to verify tax eligibility as per their applicable jurisdiction.
Donation Receipt: After a successful donation, you will receive a confirmation email from TRIF. For an official donation receipt for tax purposes, please contact us at info@truerights.org.
4.4 Accepted Payment Methods
TRIF accepts donations and payments via Razorpay, which supports the following methods:
- Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, Amex)
- Debit Cards
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, etc.)
- Net Banking (all major Indian banks)
- Wallets (Paytm, Mobikwik, Freecharge, etc.)
- EMI (on eligible cards)

Razorpay Payment Gateway — Terms
Payments Secured by Razorpay
TRIF uses Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Razorpay") as its payment processing partner. Razorpay is a PCI DSS compliant payment gateway authorized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Your payment information is encrypted and processed securely by Razorpay — TRIF does not store your card or bank account details.
By making a payment on the TRIF website, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
5.1 Payment Processing
- All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.
- TRIF does not charge any additional transaction fees to donors. However, your bank or card issuer may apply charges as per their own policies.
- Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay. TRIF does not have access to your card number, CVV, or banking credentials.
- A transaction confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at the time of payment.
5.2 Transaction Security
- All payment data is transmitted using SSL/TLS encryption.
- Razorpay is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security compliance.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) and OTP verification are applied where required by RBI guidelines.
- TRIF will never ask for your card details, OTP, or banking passwords through email, phone, or any other channel.
5.3 Failed Transactions
In case of a failed or incomplete transaction:
- If your bank account has been debited but the payment is not confirmed on TRIF's system, please wait up to 5–7 business days for automatic reversal by your bank.
- If the amount is not reversed within 7 business days, please contact us at info@truerights.org with the transaction reference number.
- TRIF will coordinate with Razorpay to resolve payment disputes within 15 business days.
5.4 International Payments
International donations may be accepted subject to FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) compliance. TRIF will inform users of any restrictions applicable to international payments at the point of donation. Additional identity verification may be required for international contributions.
Beware of Fraud: TRIF and Razorpay will never call or email you requesting your OTP, card number, PIN, or banking password. Please report any such attempt to us immediately at info@truerights.org.

Use of Website
You agree to use the TRIF website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the website in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its related systems.
- Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or other technologically harmful material.
- Scrape, copy, or republish content from this website without express written permission from TRIF.
- Impersonate TRIF, its officers, or any other person or entity.

Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, icons, videos, and software — is the property of True Rights International Foundation and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from this website without prior written consent from TRIF.

User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the TRIF platform:

- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users or TRIF personnel.
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate structural scores or membership benefits.
- Using TRIF's platform for commercial solicitation without authorization.
- Misrepresenting your identity or organization during registration.
- Attempting to manipulate or circumvent TRIF's governance or structural systems.
- Engaging in any activity that brings TRIF into disrepute.
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and/or legal action as appropriate.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- TRIF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or services.
- TRIF does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- TRIF's total liability for any claim related to a donation or payment shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the user in the transaction in question.
- TRIF is not responsible for technical failures, payment delays, or data loss caused by third-party service providers including Razorpay, hosting providers, or internet service providers.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

TRIF reserves the right to revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be notified to registered members via email and prominently displayed on this page. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Razorpay Handles Your Payment Data
TRIF does not store your card number, CVV, bank account number, UPI PIN, or OTP. All sensitive payment information is collected, processed, and stored directly by Razorpay on their PCI DSS compliant servers. TRIF only receives transaction status (success/failure) and reference identifiers.

Payment Data & Razorpay
All payment transactions on the TRIF website are processed by Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. Razorpay acts as an independent data controller for your payment data and is subject to its own Privacy Policy.
TRIF receives only the following from Razorpay after a transaction:

Donations — Refund Policy
General Policy: All donations made to TRIF are voluntary contributions to a registered non-profit organization and are generally non-refundable, as they are immediately allocated towards ongoing social welfare programs and operational activities.
However, TRIF will consider refund requests in the following exceptional circumstances:
- The donation was made due to a technical error on the TRIF website.
- The donor was charged more than once for the same intended donation (duplicate payment).
- The donation was made without the donor's knowledge or consent (suspected unauthorized transaction).
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date. Requests submitted after 7 days will not be entertained.
For tax-related queries regarding your donation, please note that once a donation receipt has been issued and the amount used for charitable activities, refunds cannot be processed. We recommend donating only after careful consideration.

Membership Fees
Where a nominal registration or membership fee is applicable:
- Membership fees are non-refundable once the membership has been activated and member ID issued.
- If your membership application is rejected by TRIF after payment, the fee will be fully refunded within 7–10 business days.
- If a technical error caused an incorrect fee deduction, the excess amount will be refunded.
- Membership cancellation by the member after activation does not entitle the member to a refund of any fees paid.

In case of accidental duplicate payment for the same transaction:
- The duplicate amount will be fully refunded upon verification.
- Please report duplicate payments within 48 hours of the transaction for fastest resolution.
- Provide both transaction reference numbers (Razorpay Payment IDs) when contacting us.
- Verified duplicates will be refunded within 5–7 business days.

Approved refunds are processed through Razorpay back to the original payment method used. Refund timelines depend on the payment method:

- Debit/Credit Card: 5–7 business days
- Net Banking: 3–5 business days
